Last updated: 29 October 2026
These terms apply to the Hanuz mobile app ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Who we are
Hanuz is provided by SM Alavizadeh, established in the Netherlands ("we", "us"). Contact: support@hanuz.app.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to the App Store or Google Play terms that apply to your download. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer or resell the app except where the law expressly allows it.
3. Hanuz Pro and subscriptions
Some features require Hanuz Pro. Available plans are shown in the app before purchase:
- Monthly — auto-renewing subscription.
- Yearly — auto-renewing subscription, with a 3-day free trial where offered.
- Lifetime — one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Prices, currencies and trial availability are set by the store and shown at checkout. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If you buy a subscription after using a free trial, any unused part of the trial is forfeited. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly.
We may change prices or plan features for future periods. Store rules govern how changes are communicated, and you can cancel before a change takes effect.
Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Hanuz Pro is digital content supplied immediately. At checkout, the store may ask you to agree to immediate supply and to acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right once supply begins. Where you buy through Apple or Google, the store is the seller of record and its payment, refund and withdrawal rules also apply. To exercise a right that still applies, contact support@hanuz.app.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, infringe the rights of others, attempt to interfere with the app's operation, or access it by automated means. Do not rely on the app for safety-critical timing where a missed or late alert could cause harm.
5. Your content
Intentions, presets and session notes you enter stay on your device. You keep ownership of them. You are responsible for the content you enter and for exporting or backing it up if you need a copy.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the app working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and we may suspend or discontinue the app. If we discontinue a paid service, we will handle it in line with applicable consumer law and store rules.
7. Not a medical service
Hanuz is a self-management and productivity tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. It is not a substitute for professional advice. If you have concerns about your health, speak to a qualified professional.
8. Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, missed sessions or missed notifications. Our total liability for direct loss is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the mandatory protections of your country of residence.
9. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what data the app processes: see https://hanuz.app/privacy/. The short version: focus data stays on your device; purchases are validated through RevenueCat and the app store.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to use a court in your country of residence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
